Star Trend Board Data API
One request returns the top 100 DSH plugins by GitHub star gain over a 1-week window — baseline and current star counts included, derived from the daily heat snapshots. (The homepage star module is a most-starred ranking since 2026-09-27, not a gains board.)

JSON endpoints allow cross-origin reads: Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *. No API key or registration is required.

Honesty rule: this feed reads the same daily heat snapshots (src/data/trending.ts). The homepage star module has been a most-starred ranking since 2026-09-27; this feed is the standalone 1-week gains cut. Pulse-shaped gains are excluded: when the window holds ≥2 real star updates, an entry whose largest single-day gain exceeds half the window gain is dropped — a one-day jump is not a week of traction.

The feed is capped at the top 100. Per-plugin details (verification, security, install) join with /plugins-index.json or /plugin/@author/plugin.json on id; the npm downloads ranking lives at /data/npm-downloads.json.
The ranking is rebuilt on every deploy from the daily heat snapshots collected by the dsh.so pipelines. Fields are add-only: existing fields will not be removed or renamed. Free to reference with attribution to dsh.so; new fields are announced in the changelog.
