Privacy Policy

dsh.so does not require accounts and does not sell or share personal data. This page explains what the site stores, what feedback involves, and which third-party services may process standard request logs. Last updated: 2026-08-18.

What information does dsh.so collect?

The site does not collect names, passwords, payment details, or plugin preferences on our servers. Your theme and favorites are stored only in your browser's localStorage under keys such as dsh-theme and dsh-so:favorites. Hosting and analytics providers may process standard request logs such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL.

How is feedback handled?

Feedback submitted through Feedback is filed in the dsh.so issue tracker. The content you enter, an optional contact handle, and the page where feedback was sent may be included. Do not submit secrets, passwords, or sensitive personal information through feedback.

What third-party data does dsh.so use?

Plugin records are aggregated from public sources, primarily the GitHub API and the npm registry. dsh.so mirrors and derives public metadata but does not own the plugins. Standard analytics and hosting providers may process anonymized or aggregated page-view signals; those services have their own privacy terms.

How is data retained?

Browser-local data remains on your device until you clear it. Registry data is refreshed from public sources on a scheduled pipeline. Feedback issues are retained as issue-tracker records so maintainers can respond and keep corrections auditable.

How can I contact you about privacy?

For privacy questions, corrections, or removal requests, email hello@dsh.so or open feedback without including sensitive information.
