What it doesAI
Adds Trae CN as a native LLM provider for DeepSeek Harness with browser OAuth login and an OpenAI-compatible endpoint.
- Browser OAuth login by default for Trae CN credentials
- Opt-in local-install credential source
- OpenAI-compatible surface on the host web server
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.

✓ Running dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 is within the declared range — install is not blocked by version.
Whether it actually runs is a separate question → see the measured matrix below (L1–L5).

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumMounted OpenAI-compatible endpoint has no auth and sets Access-Control-Allow-Origin: *
src/openai-server.js:190The handler mounted at /trae-cn checks an API key only when one is provided, and lib/index.js never provides one, so by default any web origin or local process that can reach the DSH web server can POST /trae-cn/v1/chat/completions to spend the logged-in user's Trae token/quota and read the responses. /health also discloses login state and credential source unauthenticated.
- lowOAuth callback query containing userJwt token/refreshToken written to plaintext debug log
src/trae-auth.js:188dumpCallback records url.search for every callback, and the tested Trae callback carries userJwt (Token, RefreshToken) and userInfo. These tokens are thus persisted in ~/.trae-proxy/login-debug.log (mode 0600, appended, never rotated) outside the credentials store.
- lowOpt-in path reads and AES-decrypts the local Trae IDE credential store
src/trae-local-credentials.js:64When credentialSource is local/auto, the plugin extracts and decrypts the refresh token stored by the Trae IDE (storage.json). This is a meaningful secret-extraction capability; it is off by default (oauth) and the credential is only used against Trae's own hosts, so no exfiltration is demonstrated, but the capability should stay explicit and documented.
- lowModule loader walks parent/_dsh node_modules and imports whatever package.json resolves there
lib/llm.js:80If any searched root contains a tampered @deepseek-ai/<name> package.json pointing at an arbitrary entry, that file is imported at plugin load, giving code execution. Exploitation requires write access to those roots (profiles are already plugin-install locations), so it is a hardening gap rather than a reachable escalation here.
Plugin mounts an unauthenticated, CORS-open OpenAI proxy that spends the user's Trae credentials; it also writes OAuth tokens to a debug log and can decrypt local IDE credentials.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
