project-learning-preset/skills/project-lab-method/references/grade.mjs:63tests[].command strings are taken verbatim from lab.config.json and passed to spawnSync with shell:true, so any string (pipes, subshells, &&) is executed with the user's privileges in the repository. The config is authored by the model through the learning_lab tool and afterwards protected from modification by guard.ts, but a lab.config.json coming from a cloned/untrusted repository, or a command injected at generation time, becomes arbitrary command execution as soon as grading is run (learning_grade / /lab grade). It is a designed capability of an autograder, but the shell is not required fo
- lowWrite guard compares resolved paths without realpath, so a symlink inside the plan dir can redirect writes outside it
pi-plugin/.pi/extensions/project-learning/guard.ts:53decideWrite()/isInside() are pure string comparisons on resolve()d paths. `..` traversal and absolute paths are correctly rejected (defense), but symlinks are not resolved: a pre-existing symlink such as `learning_plan/<proj>/out -> /some/outside/dir` makes an apparently in-bounds write land outside the plan root. Exploitation needs the link to already exist (write/edit tools plus the bash tool are normally available to the agent), so it is a guard-hardening gap rather than a remote escalation.

These values are used to build paths for writeFileSync (REPORT.md, last-result.json, LOG.md) and for `pi.exec("node", [join(dir, "autograder", "grade.mjs")])`. Because the extension writes with its own fs calls, guard.ts (which intercepts model write/edit calls) does not apply; if plan.ts' projectDir/labDir simply join the segment, a value like `../../..` would write/execute outside learning_plan/, defeat
Learning-mode preset: graders execute lab.config.json commands through a shell; the write guard is path-based only. No exfiltration, secrets access or obfuscation was found.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
