lib/launcher.js:41The plugin's core artifact is this template rendered by renderTemplate() and written with mode 0o755, then executed as `bash <script> --port N` through wsl.exe by the shortcut. The escaping at line 151 is only sufficient if __DSH_BIN__ is placed inside single quotes in the template.

lib/index.js:136Merely loading the plugin in WSL immediately creates ~/.dsh/dsh-wsl-launcher/dsh-web-launcher.sh (mode 755, invisible to the user), a hidden-console VBS in the Windows profile, and a desktop .lnk that runs it, and spawns powershell.exe. The behaviour is disclosed and gated by the autoInstall config (default true), but a user who only wanted the `wsl_launcher` tool still gets filesystem writes and a Windows interop process on activation.
Escaping of generated shell/PowerShell/VBS is consistently correct; one medium issue: uninstall recursively deletes an unvalidated launcherDir reachable from the model tool.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
