The handler performs no Origin/Referer check, token check, or content-type enforcement before dispatching actions, and readJsonBody JSON.parses any body. Users and reviewers install this as a cosmetic, browser-only plugin, yet lib/index.js (the package's main entry, loaded in the backend) writes ~/.dsh/auto-reclaim.yaml and can terminate the DSH process. The gap between the advertised trust surface and the actual one lowers scrutiny of the host route described above.

Host half exposes an unauthenticated local HTTP route that toggles auto-reclaim config and can kill/restart the DSH backend; no injection or exfiltration found.
