What it doesAI
Bridges models from the WorkBuddy desktop app into the DeepSeek Harness chat window with zero configuration.
- Connects WorkBuddy desktop models to the DSH chat window
- Zero-config setup, ready to use out of the box
- Native config UI under Settings - Plugins - Plugin Config
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic low — stricter wins → overall low.
v0.5.3dsh manifest0.5.3npm2026-10-210.5.3same versionclean · npmVet is an AST static scan (npm artifact or git source).

- lowAuto-executes a discovered WorkBuddy binary via ELECTRON_RUN_AS_NODE with only spoofable identity checks
lib/heartbeat-CP6YM98x.jsWhen an encrypted desktop credential must be opened, the plugin runs a binary chosen from (a) the WORKBUDDY_ELECTRON_BIN env var or (b) discovery via Spotlight/registry. On macOS the only checks are stat + a bundle id read with plutil; on Windows, a DisplayName prefix in a user-writable HKCU Uninstall key. A malicious executable that satisfies these weak, spoofable checks in a user-writable or indexed path is launched with the plugin's privileges, giving same-user code execution triggered by normal credential use.
- lowCan decrypt and use the WorkBuddy desktop app's at-rest encrypted credentials (by design)
lib/heartbeat-CP6YM98x.jsThe plugin extracts the app's at-rest secret key from the WorkBuddy Electron runtime and decrypts access/refresh tokens, then sends them as Bearer/refresh headers. This is the plugin's intended purpose, and token destinations are hardcoded vendor hosts (chatBase/billingBase/originReferer map only to copilot.tencent.com, www.codebuddy.cn, www.workbuddy.ai), with the plugin-owned copy written mode 0600 and the desktop file never written. Residual risk is that possession of the plugin implies ability to read the user's WorkBuddy sessions.
Harvested code shows a credential bridge to fixed vendor hosts; subprocess use is fixed-argument with no injection. Only low, by-design capabilities found.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
