Install verification: Ecosystem plugin: installs via dsh plugin add but declares no dsh.bundle and mounts no plugin capability — the L1-L5 install ladder does not rate it; the security scan still runs.Install verification details →
What it doesAI
Applies a full-page DSH wallpaper with upload, dimming, blur and four dark-blue color themes, plus a session token usage panel.
- Full-page wallpaper with built-in default image, upload and delete
- Adjustable dimming, blur and fill mode via sidebar panel sliders
- Four dark-blue color schemes recolor cards, lists and menus; shows session token usage
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility○ Ecosystem plugin
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
package manifest not collected — the declared range is unknown.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumMutating HTTP endpoints (config/upload/delete) accept cross-site requests without Origin or CSRF checks
dsh-wallpaper/lib/index.js:900handle() dispatches state-changing POSTs on method+path only; readJsonBody() parses the body without looking at content-type and nothing checks Origin/Host/CSRF. A page the user visits can send a simple text/plain cross-origin POST (no preflight) that writes up to ~9 MB image files into ~/.dsh/wallpaper/wallpapers, switches the active wallpaper and rewrites config.json; repeated calls let the page fill the disk. Deleting needs a known id (listing is same-origin-only), so impact is file write plus config tampering; exploitability depends on the carrier's own auth/origin policy, which is outside
- lowWallpaper path containment uses a bare startsWith prefix, so sibling directories beginning with 'wallpapers' are reachable
dsh-wallpaper/lib/index.js:934resolve() normalises '..' so escaping to config.json or the home directory is blocked, but the guard compares against USER_WALLPAPER_DIR without a trailing separator. A request such as /dsh-wallpaper/wallpaper/user/..%2Fwallpapers-old/x.png resolves to ~/.dsh/wallpaper/wallpapers-old/x.png and passes the check; the same weakness exists in deleteWallpaper (line 631, `if (!path.startsWith(USER_WALLPAPER_DIR)) throw`) so files in any sibling directory whose name starts with 'wallpapers' can be read or unlinked, including through the default axios extension fallback serving them as application/oct
Well-scoped plugin with no RCE or network egress, but mutating HTTP endpoints lack Origin/CSRF checks and the wallpaper path guard uses a bare prefix match.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
