Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumLogin/setup rate limiting keys on the first X-Forwarded-For entry, so the brute-force throttle can be bypassed
gate/server.js:776The gate runs behind Caddy, which appends the real client address to an existing X-Forwarded-For header instead of overwriting it. Taking element [0] lets a remote attacker pick the value the limiter keys on, so a fresh fake IP per request means the 5-failures/5-minutes window never triggers. Unlimited password guessing against /login, /setup and /gate/password (which reuses the same counter) becomes possible.
- medium/setup is reachable without a session and issues a new admin when setup.lock/setup.token are absent
gate/server.js:1218main() dispatches /setup before the session check, and handleSetup only tests whether state/setup.lock exists. After a normal install both setup.lock and setup.token are present, but in any state where the lock file is missing (partial restore, manual cleanup, or a reset-admin path that drops the lock) /setup is exposed to the internet; because the token file is deleted on completion, setupTokenValid degrades to 'always true', so an unauthenticated attacker can POST /setup and replace the administrator username and password, taking over the deployment.
- lowOpen redirect: safeNext accepts a backslash, so ?next=/\evil.com leaves the origin
gate/server.js:750Browsers normalise '\' to '/' for http(s) URLs, so /\evil.com is resolved as the protocol-relative //evil.com. The value is echoed in the login form and then used as the Location header after a successful sign-in, so a victim lured to /login?next=/\evil.com is redirected to an attacker-controlled site immediately after authenticating — usable for phishing that starts on the genuine host.
Gateway is largely sound (no critical/high): brute-force throttling trusts a spoofable X-Forwarded-For, /setup can hand over the admin account when its lock/token files are gone, and next allows a backslash open redirect.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
