Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected

>=0.1.0-rc.6 ×1
✓ Running dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 is within the declared range — install is not blocked by version.
Footnote: the author also wrote engines.dsh = ">=0.1.0-rc.6" — DSH does not read that field (not part of the verdict).
Whether it actually runs is a separate question → see the measured matrix below (L1–L5).

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumcheck-svn spawns an executable path taken straight from the request body
lib/index.jsAny client that satisfies the API trust fence — i.e. a local process/script posting without an Origin header, or a page served from the same host:port — can make the DSH process spawn an arbitrary executable of its choosing (fixed args `--version --quiet`). Remote web pages are blocked by the Host/Origin fence, so this needs local access or a same-origin foothold, but it is a genuine arbitrary-program-execution primitive and it also discloses the probed path/version.
- mediumWrite endpoints act on any absolute path with no working-copy containment
lib/index.jsresolveTargetAbs returns absolute paths unchanged, so api.diffChoose rewrites an arbitrary file with fs.writeFile (a non-versioned target has left=null, so a block applied with mode 'left' silently drops those lines), while api.export (--force), api.checkout, api.delete, api.revert, api.patch and api.historyRevert act on paths outside the session workspace. historyRevert/repoRelTarget do enforce containment, the other write handlers do not. Reachable only through the trust-fenced API or the user's own agent tools, so the impact is local data destruction/overwrite rather than remote compromise.
- lowTemp files for commit messages, property values and file content use default (world-readable) permissions
lib/index.jsfs.writeFile uses the process umask (typically 0o644), so on a shared multi-user host the commit log, svn property value, or streamed repository file content (dsh-svn-cat-*.tmp) is readable by other local users during the command window. The UUID-random file names make discovery unlikely, so no reachable exploit is demonstrated.
SVN runs via execFile/spawn arg arrays (no shell) behind a loopback/origin fence; residual medium risks: check-svn executes a caller-supplied binary path, write APIs lack workspace containment.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
