What it doesAI
Bridge plugin that lets DSH agents drive a live SketchUp 2023 session through 8 tools: run Ruby tasks, save .skp files, and capture viewport images.
- 8 agent tools for controlling a live SketchUp 2023 session
- Runs Ruby tasks directly inside the running SU instance
- Saves .skp models and captures viewport screenshots
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.

L1–L3 are plugin-level static conclusions (baseline, identical across dsh versions): evidence is stored once per plugin.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumUnauthenticated loopback TCP bridge accepts arbitrary Ruby code from any local process
sketchup/dsh_su_bridge/server.rb:69The extension binds 127.0.0.1 (PORT from %LOCALAPPDATA%\dsh-su\config.json, default 47311) and dispatches 'run'/'eval'/'reload'/'open' without any token, origin or peer check. Any process or other interactive session on the same machine can connect, load arbitrary .rb files or eval arbitrary Ruby inside SketchUp, which reaches File, system/backticks and the network as the logged-on desktop user. Remote/LAN access is blocked by the loopback bind, and a local attacker normally already has code execution, so this is a privilege/session-crossing and persistence amplifier rather than a remote hole.
- lowsu_eval forwards agent-supplied Ruby verbatim, bypassing restrictToWorkspace
lib/su-bridge.js:109Unlike su_run (workspace-confined .rb file, mustExist, extension check) and su_save/su_capture (isWithin workspace), the su_eval path writes the code string to %LOCALAPPDATA%\dsh-su\tmp and load()s it with no path or capability restriction, so agent code can read/write outside the workspace or start processes even with restrictToWorkspace=true. This is the plugin's documented purpose ('prefer su_run for multi-step tasks'), so the residual risk is that a prompt-injected agent turns an inspection call into host-level code execution.
dsh-su ships a loopback-only SketchUp bridge that executes arbitrary Ruby with no authentication, and the su_eval tool is likewise unrestricted; no remote attack surface found.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
