What it doesAI
Passive watchdog for DeepSeek Harness that watches a turn's thinking and text streams and cancels it when the model starts repeating itself.
- Monitors a turn's thinking and text streams in real time
- Cancels the running turn when the model starts repeating itself
- Packaged as a Cordis/DSH plugin (dsh-rice-guard)
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumProbe reads the DSH browser-session secret and mints signed auth cookies from it
_probe/env.mjs:65_probe/env.mjs locates ~/.dsh/.credentials.yaml (line 33), extracts the `client-connection/browser-session` secret (line 91-95) and uses it to HMAC-sign a 30-day admin cookie for the local DSH web server (lines 64-79); the same file also exposes the session transcript directory. The script is not loaded by the host (not imported by src/index.js, not in the exports map) and no data leaves the machine, so exploitation requires the user to run the probe; but the package nonetheless ships working code that turns the on-disk secret into an authenticated session.
- lowasar dump command joins archive-controlled paths without normalisation
_probe/asar.mjs:77row.path comes from the .asar header; a crafted archive whose entry name is `../../foo` makes `join(outDir, row.path)` resolve outside the chosen output directory, so `node asar.mjs dump` can write files anywhere the user can write. Reachability is limited: the CLI is run manually and the archive is chosen by the user, and `dump` is not called from any runtime path.
- lowTest loader evaluates the built client bundle with new Function
_probe/client/load.mjs:6The harness turns the contents of lib/client.js into executable code at test time. The file is the project's own build output shipped alongside the harness, so nothing external is evaluated, and the loader is only invoked by _probe/* harnesses, never by the host or the browser half.
Static-scan criticals are unreachable dev probes; the only real capability is local credential reading and session-cookie forging in _probe/env.mjs.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
