What it doesAI
Bridges remote Unix, IBM AIX and macOS hosts into DeepSeek Harness over SSH, running whitelisted argv commands read-only by default.
- Optional companion to the dsh wsl kit for remote bridging
- remote ssh status lists configured hosts with optional uname probe
- remote ssh run executes whitelisted argv on a hostId without a shell
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumDefault allowlist ships cat/head/tail, so any configured host can be made to dump arbitrary readable files into the model context
cordis.patch.yml:16assertAllowedCommand (lib/ssh.js:38) only validates the command name, never its arguments, and remote_ssh_run feeds the returned stdout straight back to the model (index.js render: v.stdout). With the shipped default allowlist, a prompt-injected or simply curious agent can call remote_ssh_run with argv ["cat","/home/<user>/.ssh/id_rsa"] (or /etc/shadow, application secret files, cloud credentials readable by the SSH user) on any configured host and receive the file contents in the transcript, exfiltrating remote secrets to the model provider without any confirmation step, because read-only com
- lowSSH host keys are trusted on first use (StrictHostKeyChecking=accept-new) with no pinning
lib/ssh.js:74Every ssh invocation accepts an unknown host key silently, so the first connection to a host (or any later connection where DNS/ARP/routing is manipulated) can be intercepted by an on-path attacker; the attacker can then observe and alter the allowlisted commands and their output that this plugin returns to the model. No user-known-hosts file is provided, so the risk is permanent for hosts whose key is never verified out of band.
- lowLab example installs authorized_keys from world-writable /tmp before starting sshd
examples/ssh-lab/entrypoint.sh:6The example entrypoint copies an SSH public key from /tmp into the dshprobe account's authorized_keys and then runs sshd, so any process able to write /tmp before container start can install its own key and obtain a shell as dshprobe inside the lab image. Impact is limited to this example/test container: the harness never loads entrypoint.sh (it is not referenced by package.json main or dsh.bundle.patch), so there is no runtime reachability in the plugin itself.
Static-scan criticals are false positives (argv-only ssh spawn; lab-only entrypoint.sh); residual medium risk: cat in allowlist reads arbitrary remote files.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
