What it does
DSH 插件:通过 SSH 连接远程主机,定位/拉取二进制或固件,调用 REA 做逆向分析。只分析不利用,支持 POSIX shell 目标,Windows 远端显式拒绝。

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.

No runtime install test for this version (static scan only) — compatibility unknown, never assumed.
Only the latest 3 published versions are shown; source-snapshot (commit hash) groups, unstated groups and older versions are omitted — the full archive stays in the data layer (snapshot/unstated groups appear only when a plugin has no published version).

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- mediumRemote REA runs unpinned third-party package via 'npx --yes rea-agents@latest'
rea-remote-deploy.jsWhen no global rea exists, analyze flows execute `npx --yes rea-agents@latest ...` on the target host as the SSH user. npx auto-confirms and resolves @latest from the public registry at runtime, so a compromised or newly-published malicious version executes arbitrary code on the remote host with the connecting user's privileges.
- mediumpasswordEnv accepts any env-var name, enabling host-secret exfiltration to an attacker SSH host
index.jsThe agent supplies an arbitrary environment-variable name and the plugin copies its value into a stored SSH password. By adding a host pointing at an attacker-controlled server with authKind=password and passwordEnv=<some-secret>, then calling test/fetch, the secret value is sent to the attacker's SSH server during password authentication — a covert exfiltration channel for any process environment variable.
- lowUnvalidated alias is interpolated into report filename (path traversal if writeJsonReport does not sanitise)
rea-controller.jsrunFetch/runAnalyze use the raw alias argument in the report filename without applying ALIAS_RE, and finish() writes a report even when the alias is unknown. If writeJsonReport does not sanitise its filename argument (unharvested), an alias containing '../' could write JSON outside reportsDir. Depends on unverified code, hence low.
- lowSSH passwords/passphrases stored in plaintext JSON (mode 0600)
remote-ssh-core.jsHost entries include auth.password and auth.passphrase and are persisted verbatim to ~/.reverse/remote-ssh-hosts.json. Mode 0600 mitigates but any same-user process or backup can read cleartext credentials; the plugin deliberately avoids exposing passwords in tool output, yet stores them readable on disk.
- lowREVERSE_SSH2_MODULE lets an environment variable choose an arbitrary module to require
remote-ssh-core.jsIf an attacker can influence the host process environment, they can point REVERSE_SSH2_MODULE at a malicious module that is require()d on the first SSH connection, yielding code execution. Reachability requires control of the process environment, so impact is limited.
SSH/REA plugin: core SSH exec uses shell-quoted, validated paths, but unpinned npx @latest and an unconstrained passwordEnv create real supply-chain/secret-exfil paths; static 'critical' is refuted.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
