Any window holding a reference to the host page can send {type:'canvas-pro/action'} and have an arbitrary prompt built and submitted into the Harness conversation as if the user had typed it (agent hijack / indirect prompt injection). The plugin's own preview iframe is rendered with sandbox="allow-scripts" from artifact HTML/Markdown that is derived from agent and user data, so it is a realistic attacker channel that requires no extra user action beyond opening the drawer/session. The same handler also blindly overwrites the selection state from unvalidated message data.

The route performs no authentication, session binding or CSRF/origin check; a plain text/plain POST (no CORS preflight) from any web page the developer visits, or any local process, can push arbitrary text into the canvas selection that the model later reads via get_canvas_selection — an unauthenticated indirect prompt-injection channel into an agent that also has tool execution rights.
