What it doesAI
Remote SSH terminal plugin with 3-level command guard, human-approved AI commands, encrypted credentials.
- Connect to SSH directly from Web UI
- Three-level guard for dangerous commands
- AI commands need human approval; passwords encrypted
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low; dynamic medium (authoritative when present) → overall medium.
v0.6.2dsh manifest0.6.2git2026-10-250.6.2same versionclean · npmVet is an AST static scan (npm artifact or git source).

- mediumRPC route /netshell/rpc has no auth, origin or content-type check; it can spawn a local shell
lib/index.js:65The single dispatch endpoint only checks the HTTP method and parses the body as JSON regardless of Content-Type, with no session token, no Origin/Referer check and no CSRF token. Any caller that can reach the DSH web port (or a web page able to issue a CORS-simple 'text/plain' POST, which needs no preflight) can invoke every handler, including netshell.local.connect -> netshell.input (spawns bash/sh/pwsh/cmd on the host and writes arbitrary keystrokes) and netshell.connect/netshell.input against stored servers. Entered commands still pass through the Guard, but any command not matching deny/as
- lowBuilt-in deny rules match the literal command line, so simple wrappers bypass them
lib/index.js:86evaluateFor() runs every command (including model tool calls, which use the raw cmd string) through globToRe against the full command line, and variants() only strips a leading sudo/doas/nice/nohup/env. A command such as sh -c 'rm -rf /' or /bin/rm -rf / does not match the 'rm -rf /*' / 'rm -rf /' deny patterns, so in guarded (default) and even locked handling the hard-block is silently skipped; the guard is therefore best-effort, not a sandbox.
Legit SSH terminal plugin with a real command guard, but its RPC route /netshell/rpc performs no auth/origin/content-type check and can drive a local shell.
Rule (2026-10-24): when a dynamic conclusion exists it is authoritative (it may raise or lower the level); without one, the static/vet fused tier applies. The audit never writes the exemption list (exemptions are manual only); a wrong conclusion is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to static/vet.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
