What it does
DSH plugin: manage MCP servers from the Web settings panel (list, start/stop, edit, probe by real handshake) and import configs from Codex TOML, mcpServers JSON and VS Code mcp.json.
Installation

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic low — stricter wins → overall low.

- lowWindows .cmd/.bat probe passes unquoted args to cmd.exe
lib/probe.jsOn Windows, when a configured stdio command ends in .cmd/.bat, probeStdio builds a cmd.exe /c command line from the config's command and args with windowsVerbatimArguments and no escaping, so shell metacharacters (&, |, %, >>) inside an argument are interpreted by cmd.exe. It is reachable when the user presses Test or when an imported third-party config supplies such args. Because whoever controls the config already controls `command` itself, the marginal attack capability is small; the practical impact is unintended command interpretation / argument mangling.
- lowimport RPC reads arbitrary absolute paths on the host
lib/index.jsAny caller of the /mcp-hub RPC can make the host read an arbitrary file. The response only carries the parsed MCP entries (secrets masked by default) plus the path and byte length, so full arbitrary-file disclosure is not demonstrated; however the caller may pass maskSecrets:false, and only MCP-shaped files surface their env/headers values. This is the documented 'import from a local file' feature, so risk is limited to callers who can already reach the RPC.
- lowTest harness evaluates client.js source with new Function
lib/client-smoke.mjsThe smoke test dynamically evaluates the local lib/client.js bundle with a fake window. It is not a runtime entry point (package.json main/exports point at lib/index.js and lib/client.js); it only runs when a developer manually executes `node lib/client-smoke.mjs` against a local, trusted file, with no remote input.
Well-built MCP server manager; the scanner's critical is a test-only new Function, and remaining issues are low: Windows cmd.exe arg quoting, arbitrary-path import reads.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
