What it doesAI
DSH plugin that saves bookmarked links (title, summary, icon, tags, body) into a local Markdown collection with a web sidebar page.
- Persists bookmarked links as local Markdown files
- Stores title, intro, icon, tags and body text per link
- Ships with a web sidebar page for browsing bookmarks
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected

✗ Running dsh 0.2.1-rc.2 is outside the declared range — the official install gate rejects it (incompatible-version).
To force-install, grant an exact-version exemption: dsh plugin allow-version dsh-link-collect@0.1.1 0.2.1-rc.2 (the exemption lives in the local profile; this site does not assume one)
Whether it actually runs is a separate question → see the measured matrix below (L1–L5).

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low; dynamic medium (authoritative when present) → overall medium.
v0.1.1dsh manifest0.1.1git2026-10-240.1.1same versionclean · gitVet is an AST static scan (npm artifact or git source).

- mediumLoopback routes have no Origin/CSRF check and accept non-JSON bodies, so any web page can mutate the library
index.js:1291The guard only checks the socket address and the Host header. A cross-origin fetch with mode:'no-cors' and a text/plain body sent to http://127.0.0.1:<port>/api/link-collect/link/add (or folder/create, folder/rename, link/update) passes both checks, and readJsonBody JSON.parses the body without verifying Content-Type. Any website the user visits can therefore create/rename folders and add/modify links in the user's library and trigger outbound favicon fetches.
- mediumprobePage/attemptFavicon fetch arbitrary http(s) URLs with no private-range filtering (blind SSRF)
index.js:768The /api/link-collect/meta?url=... route (and link/add with fetchIcon, plus the link_collect_add tool) passes an arbitrary http/https URL into probePage/attemptFavicon, which follow redirects to internal hosts, loopback admin ports or cloud metadata endpoints. Combined with the missing CSRF check, a cross-site GET can make the host probe the local network (blind, since responses are not CORS-readable); favicon bytes that look like images are even persisted under the library icons/ directory.
- lowRemote SVG favicons are stored and re-served as image/svg+xml from the harness origin
index.js:1611attemptFavicon accepts content whose sniffed extension is svg when it starts with '<svg', writes it into icons/ and the /api/link-collect/icon route serves it with content-type image/svg+xml and no CSP or Content-Disposition. Loaded via <img> it is inert, but if the user navigates directly to the icon URL (name = sha1(url) prefix, computable by an attacker who supplied the link) any script inside the SVG runs in the harness origin.
Routes are loopback+Host guarded and file writes are sanitized, but there is no Origin/CSRF check on POST routes and /meta fetches arbitrary URLs (blind SSRF); stored remote SVGs add a minor XSS path.
Rule (2026-10-24): when a dynamic conclusion exists it is authoritative (it may raise or lower the level); without one, the static/vet fused tier applies. The audit never writes the exemption list (exemptions are manual only); a wrong conclusion is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to static/vet.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
