Install verification: Ecosystem plugin: installs via dsh plugin add but declares no dsh.bundle and mounts no plugin capability — the L1-L5 install ladder does not rate it; the security scan still runs.Install verification details →
What it doesAI
LAN gateway that lets you use your desktop DeepSeek Harness from a phone or iPad over Wi-Fi, with per-device approval and a mobile layout.
- Access desktop DeepSeek Harness from phone or iPad over Wi-Fi
- Per-device approval for each device that connects
- Mobile-friendly layout with nothing to install
Capability tags are AI-inferred or rule-extracted from the README (see badge) — vocabulary-limited, not install-verified. AI = inferred; README = literal keyword from the readme.

Verification & Compatibility○ Ecosystem plugin
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected

`[](https://www.dsh.so/artifact/dsh-lan-gate-3/)`Security Report
Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.
—v1.2.0git2026-10-21v1.2.0same versionclean · gitVet is an AST static scan (npm artifact or git source).

- mediumReads DSH browser-session signing secret and mints upstream session cookies; device token lives 180 days
lib/auth.mjs:96This is the plugin's intended auth-bridging design, but it means the gateway's device approval becomes the single factor for a fully authenticated DSH session: any approved device (or anyone who steals the HttpOnly langate_device cookie) gets a `dsh-auth-*` cookie signed with the machine's real browser-session secret, bypassing DSH's own login/token flow. With a 180-day token lifetime, no rotation, and no binding to device/IP/UA, one leaked cookie grants months of full DSH UI/API access over the LAN. The secret also stays in gateway process memory, so any code execution there yields the upstre
- lowStart route spawns a Windows scheduled task using config-supplied task name
plugin/index.js:100POST /dsh-lan-gate/start lets any caller that can reach DSH's web server trigger a named scheduled task, i.e. launch a program outside DSH's process tree. The task name comes from trusted bundle config (cordis.patch.yml), not from the request, and spawn() is used without a shell, so there is no argument or command injection from remote input; impact is limited to the configured task and depends on DSH's own authentication covering these routes.
- lowClient-supplied DOM report is written to a fixed file under ~/.dsh
lib/store.mjs:75A gateway client (the mobile device that submits the diagnostic payload) can overwrite ~/.dsh/lan-gate-domreport.json with arbitrary JSON content. The path is fixed and the content JSON-encoded, so there is no traversal or code execution; worst case is clobbering the diagnostics file and unbounded size in the home directory.
The plugin reads DSH's local session-signing secret to mint upstream session cookies and issues 180-day device tokens; the schtasks spawn and fixed-path DOM report write are limited, low-risk capabilities.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
