    JSON_HEADERS is used by sendJson for every JSON route (/api/config, /api/bootstrap, /api/packs, /api/state, /api/next, /api/turn) and no handler performs an authentication or origin check of its own. A GET is a CORS-simple request, so any page the user visits can read the widget config (pack ids and the absolute paths held in pricingFile / extraPackRoots), the DeepSeek account balance, today's spend and the whole ledger history, and can fingerprint a running install. Cross-origin writes (PUT) still need a preflight the server does not answer, so the practical reach is read-only disclosure.

    Any caller that can reach the host web server (e.g. another local process) can persist an arbitrary absolute path: pricingFile is later handed straight to readFirst()/fs.readFileSync, and extraPackRoots is fed into createPackRegistry(), whose media assets are then served by /dsh-gal/asset/sprite|voice. The parsed pricing document is never returned verbatim and the values only take effect on the next load, so this expands the plugin's filesystem scope rather than giving a directly exploitable read.

Solid host plugin, but its unauthenticated local JSON routes answer with wildcard CORS, exposing balance, spend and config to any page the user visits.

Rule (2026-10-28): when a dynamic conclusion exists it is authoritative (it may raise or lower the level); the static scan tier (vet primary, dsh backstop) applies only when there is none (not queued / audit failed / withdrawn). The audit never writes the exemption list (exemptions are manual only); a wrong conclusion is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static scan tier.
