    A POST {"action":"saveFile","filePath":"<any path>","content":"..."} to /api/dsh-default-prompt creates directories and overwrites any file the harness process can write (e.g. ~/.bashrc, ~/.ssh/authorized_keys, harness/plugin code, ~/.dsh config). The route performs no origin, token, or permission check, and the legitimate UI never sends filePath, so this parameter is unneeded attack surface. Cloning and working in a repository that ships one of these files silently prepends its instructions to the system prompt at order 10 (immediately after the identity), letting a malicious repo steer the agent (e.g. instruct it to run commands or exfiltrate data) without the user noticing.

The plugin's HTTP API allows unauthenticated arbitrary file read/write via filePath, and workspace PROMPT.md files are injected into the system prompt by default.

Rule (2026-10-28): when a dynamic conclusion exists it is authoritative (it may raise or lower the level); the static scan tier (vet primary, dsh backstop) applies only when there is none (not queued / audit failed / withdrawn). The audit never writes the exemption list (exemptions are manual only); a wrong conclusion is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static scan tier.
