Verification & Compatibility
Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.
External credentials (plugin-level): none detected
○ The author declares no dsh version requirement — install is not blocked by version.

L1–L3 are plugin-level static conclusions (baseline, identical across dsh versions): evidence is stored once per plugin.

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.
Static low, dynamic medium — stricter wins → overall medium.

- medium/cockpit mutating APIs authenticate only via Origin==Host and accept requests with no Origin header
index.jsThe CSRF gate compares the Origin header with the request's own Host header and treats an absent Origin as same-origin. Under DNS rebinding (attacker page served at evil.com, resolving to the loopback DSH server), Origin and Host both equal the attacker host, so the check passes and a page in the victim's browser can call POST /cockpit/api/actions/send (inject text into a running agent that has tool access), POST /cockpit/api/approvals/:id (satisfy a pending tool-execution approval that the plugin is deliberately holding for a human), POST /cockpit/api/remote/start and /cockpit/api/remote/pair
- lowWindows default-on capsule spawns powershell.exe with -ExecutionPolicy Bypass on an unharvested bundled script
index.jsThe script path is a fixed bundled file (capsule/overlay.ps1), not attacker-controlled input, so this is not remote code execution. However CAPSULE_ENABLED_DEFAULT is process.platform === 'win32', so on Windows the plugin launches an unreviewed PowerShell payload in the user's session at plugin load and restarts it every 5 s, bypassing the machine execution policy. A paired phone can also toggle it via /cockpit/api/capsule. The behaviour of overlay.ps1 could not be audited here.
LAN remote access with pairing codes, hashed tokens and rate limits looks sound, but the same-origin check on mutating /cockpit APIs trusts the Host header and accepts a missing Origin.
Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.
Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
