Verification & Compatibility

Grouped by plugin version: each card lists the dsh versions actually tested against that artifact version and their install verdicts (L5 wins). Untested combinations are omitted — absence means untested, never assumed compatible. L1–L3 are a plugin-level static archive (independent of the dsh version — the same verdict on every dsh row): they sit in each row's level grid next to L4/L5, marked "static", while their evidence is stored once per plugin inside that row's "checks & evidence" instead of being duplicated per version.

External credentials (plugin-level): none detected

No runtime install test for this version (static scan only) — compatibility unknown, never assumed.

Only the latest 3 published versions are shown; source-snapshot (commit hash) groups, unstated groups and older versions are omitted — the full archive stays in the data layer (snapshot/unstated groups appear only when a plugin has no published version).

Security Report

Two automated layers, neither a manual review: a static scan (per-plugin rule checks) and a model-driven dynamic security audit that covers only the subset static-flagged at warn or above and never executes plugin code.

  • highrendererEval op executes arbitrary JS inside the DSH renderer and is reachable via the /debug/exec bridge endpointclient/client.js

The host half lib/index.js exposes POST /debug/exec which calls bridge.send(String(body.op), body.args, ...) with an arbitrary op string. The renderer's OPS table contains rendererEval, which compiles the supplied string with the AsyncFunction constructor and runs it in the DSH renderer context (access to globalThis.dshDesktop.browser lease API, full UI DOM, and every other OPS method). Any party able to POST to the loopback bridge (any local process, and see the static-token finding) obtains arbitrary code execution in the DSH application renderer, not just the guest page.

  • mediumLoopback bridge protected only by a hardcoded shared token and wildcard CORSlib/index.js

The same BRIDGE_TOKEN literal appears in lib/index.js, client/client.js (const BRIDGE_TOKEN) and cli/browser.mjs (const TOKEN), so it must be a static string shipped inside the package rather than a per-install/per-run secret; any local process can read node_modules source and obtain it. With 'access-control-allow-origin: *' plus an OPTIONS handler that advertises x-dsh-browser-agent, a cross-origin web page that knows the token can send the required header; together with the /debug/exec arbitrary-op endpoint this widens who can drive the browser and reach rendererEval (mainly mitigated in mod

  • lowCookie vault writes httpOnly session cookies to disk in plaintext with default permissionslib/index.js

browser_cookies export (and the CLI vault) persists cookies including httpOnly session tokens as a plaintext JSON file under ~/.dsh/dsh-browser-agent/vault with default umask permissions. If the home directory or file is group/world readable, another local account can lift authenticated sessions. The feature is user-initiated, limiting exposure.

Powerful browser-automation plugin with reasonable guards, but its token-protected localhost debug bridge can post a rendererEval op that runs arbitrary JS inside the DSH renderer.

Rule: the dynamic audit can only raise risk, never lower it (raise-only, never an exemption); a wrong raise is withdrawn by human review and the tier falls back to the static verdict. Overall verdict = the stricter of the two layers.

Disclaimer: the static scan and the dynamic security audit are both automated analysis, not a security guarantee. Always review what you install.
